Helpful Tips

  • Please allow yourself 5-10 minutes at check in per visit.  If this is your first visit you will need to complete our new client questionnaire.  To save time you may print and complete the forms and bring them with you.
  • Please have your pet leashed or in a carrier when entering DogServices.  We prefer that you use a regular leash NOT a flexi leash.
  • All dogs are required to wear a snap or buckle collar.  An identification tag on the collar is required.  Choke chains, prong collars and martingale collars are not allowed in the play yards.
  • DogServices will administer medicines and provide bedding at no additional charge.  If you choose to bring your pet’s bedding please understand that we make every effort to keep the bedding clean and intact.  We ask that you limit toys to 1-2 per pet.  Please make sure any personal items are not irreplaceable. DogServices cannot be held liable for any lost or destroyed personal items.
  • Please bring your dog’s food when he/she is boarding or for lunch during day care.  We like to keep your pets diet consistent to avoid stomach upset.  We provide stainless steel bowls for food and water.
  • Bordetella, DHLPPC and Rabies vaccinations are mandatory for dogs.  Distemper and Rabies are required for cats.  Proof of these shots is required.  You may have your vet fax a copy to us. If your pet is exempt from any of these shots due to age or health we will need documentation from your vet stating so.
  • We recommend administering all needed vaccines 14 days prior to arriving at the kennel.
  • All pets should be on a quality flea and tick prevention to prevent infestation.
  • Please inform the receptionist of any special needs or medical conditions your pet(s) may have at each visit.
  • We offer long term stay and multiple dog discounts.  Please inquire for more information.
